Book Review -- The Greatness Guide by Robin Sharma

This is my third read of Robin, and as always one of the best self guidance book. This book is an absolute easy read with short chapters. His compilation, observations, inferences make it worth a read and proactive that can be efficiently implemented in daily life.  It is amazing how he guides to make your “ordinary life EXTRA ORDINARY!!
He speaks on goal setting, time management and sharing some of the quotes I loved the most –

🔅One of our biggest regrets on our deathbeds is that we were not reflective though
🔅Your schedule is the best barometer for what you truly value and believe to be important.
🔅Every time you say yes to something that is unimportant, you say no to something that is important.
🔅It’s never too late to become the person you have always dreamed of being.
🔅Human beings move when their emotions are moved
🔅This very day can be the first day of your new life. It's all your choice

I have always been an ardent fan of his writing skills. And also his self help audio clips have been very positive and inspirational. Love his style of illustrating his own life examples and how to go about adding that extra spark in your daily work life or routine life. Every time you read his book, a re-read is very essential as that is what gives you time to retrospect and introspect with yourself.

Best take away that resonate the most is, after your read you will definitely want to apply these methods in your daily life!!

Why do we go flat out to belittle our friends and relatives, Why we foul mouth dear ones, create ruckus and mayhem, Why don’t we realise that bad deeds return with a vengeance. God created earth and smartly made it go round and round. The earth is created not just for the mankind’s pleasure, It is the home for all the plants, trees, the animal kingdom, The beaches, the seasons, clouds, hills and valleys, The beauty is to behold, not touch and destroy. The Earth has seen many births and deaths, lot of greats, Everything ends up in mud and dust, a nobody in the end, Come to earth, enjoy the beauty, live, love and leave a footprint, Depart silently, with a smile, Mother Earth will embrace you

Reflection

The heart full of ache, head in disarray, soul in slumber, The reality of life hits like a bullet, sudden and straight, Where's the elixir, the panacea, to come out of the hole, Who will break the walls of despondency, to a new tomorrow. Reflect on the love and affection, people who stand by you, Let despair disappear, and give way to hope and faith, Nothing is static, it's a dynamic scene, wrong can become right, Keeping hitting the wall, it will break under the positive vibes. Myriad of emotions, plethora of options, many an exit to start anew, Squares and rounds mingle to create a prism of brightness, The miasma of subconscious is wiped clean in showdown, The nature will Reflect the subtle war and the ultimate victory.
