Dark

Dark Girls have always longed for Tall Dark and Handsome guy, The dusky beauty is a classic example of love and life, The most romantic moves are made in moonlit darkness, Dark and light hearted singing  go hand in hand. The Whites of the World made Dark into sinister and slaves, Their killings and subjugation was labelled dark deeds, The dark African continent was plundered for ages, The Whites ruled and got wealth beyond anybody’s dream. Hindu darling God Krishna is dark, loveable and mischievous, There’s more to Dark that just colour, it embodies drama, Love humanity, not colour, He from up there created all, Live as one, long for peace, Dark will guide you to enlightenment.

Book Review -- IKIGAI

There are some books which inspire us and actually prove to become a life changing tool for you, and one such book is IKIGAI by Hector Garcia and Francesc Mirales. IKIGAI is a Japanese concept and shows us how to find purpose of your life, value relationships, drive your passions. The book can be a guide about taking a pause from regular routine and do things that will give us a long and happy life. Author stresses on finding our own IKIGAI, and one of the best quote in the book is "To live is the rarest thing in the world, most people just exist that's all", we must quest to know how to live rather than just exist. He gives an outlook to practice simple things like practice gratitude (which I have more consciously started to implement) connect more with people, smile, laugh and spend your time in the present without dwelling much into the past.  The chapter I loved the most is FIND FLOW IN EVERYTHING YOU DO and how to get into the flow- Knowing what to do    ...

Book Review -- UNTOLD LIES

Ever since I heard Raga speak about her story, was keen to read her book UNTOLD LIES !! Must say, have been lucky enough to get a signed copy from her 😊 The title itself had caught my attention as I could resonate a lot with this book. We all in our life time, go through a phase which we want to hide out of some fear of being accepted. Wherein we seek validation to feel accepted.  We fail to look into what we want, what we are doing is right? It takes a lot of courage to speak or write about your own story. The book is definitely one unconventional and distinct read. Raga has also introduced to us the beautiful concept of storyems, and has written each of her story in form of short inspiring poems. Each poem connects with your soul, stirs in the right emotion and captivates your attention. The narrative in perceptive of little girl is very ideal and relatable. The book is highly recommended for everyone and especially to ones who are living in denial, and in the...
