Book Review -- The Leader Who Had No Title

I have always been an avid reader of his Quotes on Facebook and his insta posts always caught my attention. Unless I was told by my mentor to read this book. This is my second read of Robin sharma, the first being The Guide to Greatness.

This book is a must read as it speaks highly about how everyone of us have a leader within us. The book talks about the real time syndrome we all face at work, about just  being existent and executing our duties. It emphasizes how people in ordinary jobs or lower positions in life are also leaders as they perform well. The book narrates in depth through way of 4 mentors (Ana,Jackson,Ty and Jet) on how to lead lives, take ownership of our own existence and emerge as a winner. The book fills in a lot of positivity and is a great influencer. This book is highly recommended for anyone who is looking to up skill oneself on his way to self-development and self-transformation.

To share a few quotes which I could relate the most from the book  and my personal favorites -

Success doesn't just happen coz someone's stars lined up

Success both in business and personally, is something that's consciously created

It's the guaranteed result of a deliberate series of acts that anyone can perform

The fear you move through when you go to the edge of your limits actually causes your limits to expand

But one of the greatest freedoms each of us has as people, is the freedom to choose how we view our roles in the world

and the power we all have to make positive decisions in whatever conditions we happen to find ourselves

Why do we go flat out to belittle our friends and relatives, Why we foul mouth dear ones, create ruckus and mayhem, Why don’t we realise that bad deeds return with a vengeance. God created earth and smartly made it go round and round. The earth is created not just for the mankind’s pleasure, It is the home for all the plants, trees, the animal kingdom, The beaches, the seasons, clouds, hills and valleys, The beauty is to behold, not touch and destroy. The Earth has seen many births and deaths, lot of greats, Everything ends up in mud and dust, a nobody in the end, Come to earth, enjoy the beauty, live, love and leave a footprint, Depart silently, with a smile, Mother Earth will embrace you

Reflection

The heart full of ache, head in disarray, soul in slumber, The reality of life hits like a bullet, sudden and straight, Where's the elixir, the panacea, to come out of the hole, Who will break the walls of despondency, to a new tomorrow. Reflect on the love and affection, people who stand by you, Let despair disappear, and give way to hope and faith, Nothing is static, it's a dynamic scene, wrong can become right, Keeping hitting the wall, it will break under the positive vibes. Myriad of emotions, plethora of options, many an exit to start anew, Squares and rounds mingle to create a prism of brightness, The miasma of subconscious is wiped clean in showdown, The nature will Reflect the subtle war and the ultimate victory.
