Book Review -- UNTOLD LIES


Ever since I heard Raga speak about her story, was keen to read her book UNTOLD LIES !! Must say, have been lucky enough to get a signed copy from her 😊

The title itself had caught my attention as I could resonate a lot with this book. We all in our life time, go through a phase which we want to hide out of some fear of being accepted. Wherein we seek validation to feel accepted.  We fail to look into what we want, what we are doing is right?

It takes a lot of courage to speak or write about your own story. The book is definitely one unconventional and distinct read. Raga has also introduced to us the beautiful concept of storyems, and has written each of her story in form of short inspiring poems.

Each poem connects with your soul, stirs in the right emotion and captivates your attention. The narrative in perceptive of little girl is very ideal and relatable.

The book is highly recommended for everyone and especially to ones who are living in denial, and in the fear of being judged.

The Earth has seen many births and deaths, lot of greats, Everything ends up in mud and dust, a nobody in the end, Come to earth, enjoy the beauty, live, love and leave a footprint, Depart silently, with a smile, Mother Earth will embrace you

  The heart full of ache, head in disarray, soul in slumber, The reality of life hits like a bullet, sudden and straight, Where's the elixir, the panacea, to come out of the hole, Who will break the walls of despondency, to a new tomorrow. Reflect on the love and affection, people who stand by you, Let despair disappear, and give way to hope and faith, Nothing is static, it's a dynamic scene, wrong can become right, Keeping hitting the wall, it will break under the positive vibes. Myriad of emotions, plethora of options, many an exit to start anew, Squares and rounds mingle to create a prism of brightness, The miasma of subconscious is wiped clean in showdown, The nature will Reflect the subtle war and the ultimate victory.
