The month of Winter, vacation, exotic places, to chill,
Nostalgia for the months gone by, sweet memories,
Look at New Year, fresh beginning, hopes a plenty,
Plan to chart a new course, to do things differently.

Continue the journey, change the mode, accelerate,
Faster pace, more to do, laggards left out,
Eyes wide open, no time to blink, fast food, little sleep,
Pause to take stock, is this what you want.

Crowning glory is Christmas, God and grandeur,
Party hard, live it up, jive, twist, rock n roll,
You deserve it, you are enjoying one more year,
Pray for this earth, who has given you so much to live
