Night
Why is the Night so dark and the day so bright,
Is it to remind us that bright is not far away,
After silence we get sound, Sun after Moon,
There is hope when everything seems lost.

Night is for rest and rejuvenation, to dream and plan,
To love and encourage, enrich, express and enjoy,
Connect with supreme, sublime state of mind,
Soul search, seeking answers to tormented heart.

Life’s contradictions come to fore, to confuse,
When it’s night here, somewhere it is a busy day,
To challenge, to fight, to live, to earn a night’s rest,
It’s divine way of saying All’s well, sleep peacefully.

Myriad of emotions, plethora of options, many an exit to start anew, Squares and rounds mingle to create a prism of brightness, The miasma of subconscious is wiped clean in showdown, The nature will Reflect the subtle war and the ultimate victory.
