When success beckons us, we smile and chase our dreams,
We cut corners, cheat, lie and fool, harming others on the way,
To live with status in future, we kill present happiness and joy,
The chase is on, in this lopsided race, where winner is the loser.
If you look around, you will see many losers chasing mirages,
Negative vibes, abnormal talk,
Loud, callous, kill joys, cranky,
Crave attention, dramatise incidents, live in make belief.
Stunts galore, to end as a wreck, destroy self and the dear ones.
Why this Chase, why this lunacy,
Make your rules, live for the day.
Other doors can open, explore and indulge in mystery and fun.
Change the priority, take a different path, leap in the dark,
Chase your own destiny, your life is too precious to end so soon.
